It’s a new day. A new year. A new chapter.
It’s 2015 and it’s time for me to get this blog started.
After months of planning, preparation, and dare I say a little bit of procrastination, I’m as ready as I’ll ever be to launch Lawducate into the world. So here we go.
Welcome to the Lawducate blog. Thanks for stopping by. I’m honored that you’ve taken the time away from your busy law practice to be here. I will work hard to make your visits here valuable.
So what exactly is Lawducate?
Lawducate is business school for lawyers. My goal is to reach every lawyer who has ever uttered the words, “They didn’t teach me that in law school,” and give them the tools they need to run successful law businesses selling their services to clients they love.
My vision is a world where lawyers run law businesses, not law firms.
Why should you come back to the blog?
I’m going to give you a business education that you won’t get anywhere else. This blog isn’t about marketing hacks or sales tactics. I want to show you how successful entrepreneurs and business people run great companies and how to apply their expertise and know-how to your law practice.
We’re going to talk a lot about:
- The legal services you sell;
- Marketing and selling those services;
- Delivering value to your clients; and
- Making money.
Whether it’s tried and true wisdom from business sages or advice from the latest and greatest Internet tycoon, I hope the ideas you find here will encourage you to step outside the law firm box, and create something new. So tune in every Tuesday and Thursday for helpful advice on how to build and grow your law business.
