Here at Lawducate, we have declared 2015 the Year of Client Happiness.
Why?
Because it matters more than you think.
Do you know there is a direct correlation between client satisfaction and the success of your practice? And I’m not just talking about how satisfied a client is with the legal services you provide. I’m talking about how happy your clients are with the WHOLE experience.
From the first telephone call to the settlement of their legal matter, do your clients like working with you and team? Win or lose, were they happy with the way they were treated? Did they enjoy the experience?
If you’ve never focused on your clients’ experience before, you are missing your biggest opportunity to improve your law practice. Loyal, satisfied clients will not just continue to hire you but will also recommend you to everyone. Unhappy clients tend to complain about you to their colleagues and friends by word of mouth, on social media, and on attorney-review sites like Avvo, Yelp, and Google Reviews.
To help lawyers improve their clients’ happiness (and their bottom line) I developed a workshop on the subject and I am so happy to announce 2 new live events.
I will be speaking in Boston at the offices of the Massachusetts Law Office Management Assistance Program on Friday, March 27, 2015. The title of the talk is 20 Secrets to Improving Client Happiness (and your Botton Line).
If you’re a Rhode Island attorney, I will be moderating a panel workshop at the RI Bar Association Annual Conference on Thursday, June 18, 2015. The title of the workshop is Business as Unusual: 20 Tips for Improving Client Happiness.
I will be providing details on how to sign-up for the Boston event soon.
